A New Courage

I'm asking for prayers for extra courage and determination... I started Physical Therapy (PT) yesterday...

Ohhh... It was very painful! She probably spent half an hour of what I would describe as deep massaging of my incision scar to break up scar tissue underneath. She then had me do & learn some stretches I'll do at home. That wasn't too bad. Lastly, she let me rest with a large hot pad. That was nice. She was kind, but it will take willpower and strength from my Lord for me to keep going back! She scheduled me to come back twice a week for the next five weeks... I go back tomorrow. I know it will help in the long run, but oh, my! I've been extra sore and tender today as well. I have to remember, it's still better than many days the first few months after surgery. I still want to be fully recovered and and off of the pain medication. But, NOT until after PT is over... Haha.

So many stages to this recovery I never expected. I'm thankful my God cares about the big and smaller aspects of my recovery, and really, life in general! I thank all of you for caring and praying as well. 💗

I'm also still not coughing much... I have a few days left of the acid reflux medicine, so we will see how I do when that is finished...
