First Night
Good morning. First of all, I made it through the night without throwing up. Sorry about that report, but some might be wondering. 🤷🏻We will see how breakfast goes. Hopefully good.
I was awakened approximately every hour with someone checking on me or things like giving me a nebulizer treatment. At least that gave me a chance to keep up on the "thing I need to breathe deeply in" to help me from getting pneumonia. I sleep a bit in between the visits. At some point in the night, my monitor flashed red and alerted the nurse. I had some different irregular heartbeats. The nurse said, I had a "funky" heart rhythm. This morning I heard the official name, but I don't remember it. I believe he said 3 beats, then two.. . Thankfully, it just did it for a short time and my heart regulated itself. They just checked my electrolytes which were as expected. They are not worried about it because it's common for someone who had surgery close to the heart. The heart is just adjusting and thankfully, it seems be doing just that.
It is a big praise, I believe that Joel told you, the surgeon got the whole cyst! Right before the surgery, he said he may not. In getting the calcified spots off the of Superior Vena Cavity, he did nick a few spots, but, he stitched them up quickly. Thank God! I did have the fear of bleeding too much.
The doctor should come soon, so I'll stop here and think up questions. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers!
