My News & Liver News

I can't believe it's Tuesday and I haven't shared my latest news (from 2 days ago)
Are you ready for it?

I drove for the first time in 9 weeks!
I had flashbacks on driving again after my elbow surgery. Actually, this felt better... I just didn't want to sit back fully because of my back scar/pain. I'll take it little by little, like everything else. Pain has to be reasonable, and long enough between my last muscle relaxer, etc... But, it felt like big news!
But, this news is NOTHING like another, unrelated event coming up! I'll share more when the time comes! Nothing like a good cliff hanger...
This morning my Pulmonologist called me. My blood work did show my liver is not happy... My liver markers are still high. It was expected right after surgery, but they should have rebounded within two weeks afterwords. He looked at my CT scans, and the liver looked fine, so we talked though my current meds. He thinks it is the Tylenol I'm still taking regularly... He said to try and half the dose for now, or even 3/4th a dose, as needed. I'm hoping that works great. I'm all for reducing meds, as long as I can enjoy family, especially with Thanksgiving coming up! Yes, there is much to look forward to! How great to actually see improvement! Thank God and all the wonderful people supporting and cheering me on!
